Twitter is bacon and Tumblr is Nutella.
I eat a lot more bacon than Nutella.
So ready for this proposal to be finished and submitted so I can get ready for my NC BFF to arrive for the weekend!
Husband and I went to the gym together tonight for the first time in almost a year. I’ve been going, but he hasn’t. So, I consider that a great Valentine’s date!
And, I baked the egg rolls bc I don’t really like frying stuff (messy). Also made a dipping sauce of Serrano chili, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and sriacha. Super spicy and kinda salty but tasty nonetheless. Also spicy Asian mustard ( from a jar haha).

So, I’ve never watched this show, but apparently Tim Burton is directing a movie version of this show coming out this year. And, of course, if it’s Tim Burton, this also means Johnny Depp (as the vampire!) and Helena Bonham Carter.
Never-ending week, never-ending to-do list, so nevermind that post I had earlier in the week. Everything is due this week. And next week. And that’s how it’s been since November.
Not complaining, just saying.
Srsly, stop.
Can we please stop with the mule clogs? Please? Infinitely unflattering, and they make me think of the 90’s and not in a good way.

Crossing big things off my to-do list yesterday and today like a boss. This includes, but is not limited to, two days in a row going to the gym and eating healthy lunch.
Start the week off well. New sheets Sunday night is a must. Sleep well, lovelies!

My asymmetrical haircut is kinda subtle, so now taking bets on when husband will notice. He didn’t tonight, but he had been out to the bar. Also taking bets to see if anyone at all notices. When it’s gradual, I can get away with stuff more haha.
Husband is brooks brothers clothes conservative. I’m punk style. But we’re both super liberal, so it works. Plus we get along so...
Hair cut and color day
Finally went for an asymmetrical cut today! Been wanting to do it for so long, but I never had the nerve. Then I saw some girls in DC a few weeks ago with super fierce asymmetrical cuts, and I decided to to it. Funny thing was, my stylist had one too today when I walked in! Weird! Fun!
We are having tornadoes in Alabama today, and there is a GOP debate on tonight, so basically today is exactly like every other day this month.
Husband is much more tolerant of these GOP debates than I am. I think he likes them for the spectacle.
Drinking a wilammette Pinot noir right now that is dangerous delicious.
Cardigans, scarves, and down vests are my security blankets. Obvi.
Thievery Corporation totally rocked the 9:30 Club tonight. I love them and this city so much.
Heading up to DC to see my BFF! Also going to see Thievery Corporation tomorrow night at 9:30 Club! Yay, me!
