OMG, I’m so excited I’m going to New Orleans tomorrow!  We have reservations for tomorrow night at the The Roosevelt at John Besh’s Domenica restaurant.

After the haircut yesterday, my hair is now too short to justify the towel turban I like to put on my head after I wash my hair.  No matter.  I’M WEARING IT ANYWAY.  Carry on.

oldfaithful: EFFFFING Glitter Cards = MY NIGHTMARE I look like a damn disco ball after opening a card at work. Just hang me up and lets dance… I say just rock it out.  In related news, I forgot to take off my glitter eyeliner last night before I went to bed, so you can imagine what that looked like this morning.

Happy December, Bitches!
Reasons why I love December: It’s the end of the semester, so I get some time off. The college students go home, so the town become manageable again. Christmas decorations! Christmas parties! Giving gifts! My birthday! My anniversary! The start of college bowl game season! New Year’s Eve!

Holy shit, I actually baked something tonight.
I love to cook, but I do not bake.  I made an apple cake using apples sent to me from Pennsylvania by my BFF (her dad’s orchard), and I used her recipe.  I hope it turned out ok (haven’t tried it yet).  It’s for my grad student’s defense tomorrow, so I figured if she can turn out a thesis, the least I can do is bake a goddamn cake for it.

I felt like a moron whenever I tried lighting my cig. Either the wind would blow to hard (took me too long to… EXACTLY.  No desire to smoke during the day, but at night?  I’m a smoking fool.
